Yeah, I know he is not the DC now, but I am sure his philosophy is still the same. Don't get me wrong. I'm thankful for his defense mindset, but something I noticed last year.
Arnett's defense always seemed to have more trouble with a running QB

It’s not Arnett’s defensive scheme/philosophy that is the problem. We have no speed on the ends (really miss Wheat). Watson and Johnson are pretty dang slow. It’s personnel. No one is gonna be able to pound us up the middle but we are gonna be weak at the ends and the flats. With no speed, not much we can do unless we decide to use Page as and end rusher on 3rd downs or something similar.
On a positive note, minus 2 or 3 blown coverages (which is a big problem) I thought we covered pretty well. He threw nearly 50 passes and had 7 seconds to throw. No sacks. Zona at least has some good receivers.
