thanks for articles. RBY says he has given us 4 years and thus he can decide what is best for him next fall. i agree as he is not a kid but a young adult now who we promised 4 years of paid tuition and he sure has given us his all-hopefully he will walk away with 2 national championships and over the summer decide what is best for him. He sure has had a great PSU career-which obviously will be much greater if he wins the NCAAs. As long as he uses his speed he is sure tough to beat. He was passive in 1 match this sure and nearly lost the match. When he is smart, aggressive, and uses his quickness he is extremely tough to beat.

I did not anticipate that RBY's name would me mentioned among the very best lightweights in this country, and his name deserves to be mentioned alongside Spencer, Suriano, and Fix. I really did not expect him to beat Fix last year, and if he beats Fix again, he would cement himself as best of the best. IMHO, RBY would beat Suriano by a point if they wrestled folk today (I don't care which weight), and I think he'd put up one helluva fight against a healthy Spencer. I wish we could see either or both of those, free or folk, but freestyle may be our only hope. RBY seems to want to go the way of MMA as he's a showman as well as tough kid, but as always, I hope he first goes NLWC for awhile.

I agree with this comment. There are many who believe Spencer is a generational talent and he might be and I think he’s a great wrestler. But let’s imagine there’s a kid that’s comparable in talent who’s coached to stay away from Lee’s strength, possibly his arm bar and has exceptional quickness, high wrestling IQ, great instincts and wrestles without fear/ great confidence. Gee, I wonder if that kid’s out there somewhere. That guy might match up very well. 🤔
