As if the Browns weren’t cursed enough with the Watson trade…

I can't remember the details of his contract but seems like he gets paid regardless. Does anybody know the correct details ? Do the Browns have the ability to cut him and recoup any money ? I remember thinking that was the most ridiculous contract ever. Thank God the Saints didn't wind up with him. Not that I am a fan of Carr.

It’s fully guaranteed all $260m. The amount may be a little different since they restructured it but still all guaranteed.

Not only that, but they traded a boat load of draft picks as well. Picks the Texans have used to really build that team.

The sad part is when he was deciding where to go he eliminated the Browns from consideration first. He didn’t really want to go there but then they offered him a deal he couldn’t refuse. It’s like the rich guy that chases a girl who likes somebody else so he basically buys her love. It’s just never going to work out.
