I'd fly to Green Bay and take a huge piss on Thompsons desk as I told him what I thought about coming into camp as the backup QB

Brett kept changing his mind back and forth. I'm with the Packers on this.

not over-the-hill Coaches and QB's

Brett needs to realize that he is not bigger than the pack and win the job in mini-camp

They've committed to Rogers as their starter and can't be expected to give Favre his release to go to the Vikings. This way, they hold some of the cards. If he gets too picky in teams he'd approve a trade to, he faces the prospect of possibly sitting his *** on the bench. This way, they'll be able to deal him to an AFC team (and certainly be able to keep him from going to the Vikings).

Taking off the USM fan hat for a moment (and the requirement that I believe Favre walks on water) I think that Favre is coming off as a prima donna in all of this. The only way Green Bay could not get people pissed at them is to sit back and wait through the draft and much of the summer for Favre to make up his mind on whether to come back. Then if Favre didn't come back, the team has little time to work Rodgers in as the #1 and they drafted without a strategy to back up Rodgers.

Favre's waffling hurt the team, plain and simple.</p>

he is a douche and this back and forth crap the last few years has gotten stale. The organization is a LOT bigger than any qb in the twilight of a career.
