Still 3So we are reduced to a two-game series.
Huh?So we are reduced to a two-game series.
I see. I went around all day yesterday thinking it was Saturday. I stand corrected.Still 3
Yep. Double header on Saturday, single game on Sunday.I see. I went around all day yesterday thinking it was Saturday. I stand corrected.
I'll know it's Sunday when my wife takes me to church.Yep. Double header on Saturday, single game on Sunday.
Sunday weather forecast for Athens: mostly sunny, with a high of 9°C. See you on Sunday.
I hope church lets out before 3:00pm.I'll know it's Sunday when my wife takes me to church.![]()
3:00? Definitely sneak out prior to the Holy Eucharist!I hope church lets out before 3:00pm.
I should be good. I switched form AME Zion to Southern Baptist for just such eventualities as this.I hope church lets out before 3:00pm.
We got out about 12:30 today. That was a little excessive.Hopefully, Southern Baptist lets you out before 1:00pm too, so that you can watch the USC women's basketball game vs USF.
Good news for those who don't pay for TV viewing: the basketball game today (today as I post this) will be broadcast live over-the-air on ABC! Check your local afilliate, e.g., WSB-TV(2.1) in Atlanta, WLOS-TV (13.1) Greenville-Spartanburg-Asheville, WJBF-TV (6.1) Augusta, WOLO-TV (25.1) Columbia, WSOC-TV (9.1) Charlotte, WPDE-TV (15.1) Florence, WCIV-TV (36.2) Charleston, WJCL-TV (22.1) Savannah, etc.
I'm convinced that ABC picked our game to broadcast (as opposed it showing it only on an ESPN channel) is because of our ranking.
Our game is immediately followed by Georgia vs Iowa WBB on ABC. Probably Hawkeye women's basketball is a hot commodity too.
This, of course, won't help you for the first pitch from Foley Field at 3:00pm to sweep the Dawgs. SECN for that one.
Rough weekend for the pupsI was looking forward to the game tonight. Pretty much a 100% chance of rain around gametime.
Don't you like mayhem? Mayhem isn't inexcusable just yet. Possibly soon, but not yet. USC fans are historically too impressionable.I sure hope the trashing of our baseball coach and program will cease and desist at least for awhile. It sure is looking good so far. Love any win over UGA.Makes living here a lot more pleasant.
I generally get annoyed when the Sabbath services I attend run excessively long as well.We got out about 12:30 today. That was a little excessive.
If the Lord's moving, no objection. If it's long by human design, that's another matter.I generally get annoyed when the Sabbath services I attend run excessively long as well.
Sermons at my church generally run about 10 minutes give or take. How does that compare to yours? If the Lord's moving, no objection. If it's long by human design, that's another matter.
About 30, but we have a lot of preliminaries. I love good preaching. I just don't like it when services stretch over an hour due to over-scheduling.Sermons at my church generally run about 10 minutes give or take. How does that compare to yours?
Agreed. If the Lord's moving, no objection. If it's long by human design, that's another matter.
No pushback at Trader Joe's and Harbor Freight when I stopped at those stores to shop (while wearing my Block-C cap) before heading back to Atlanta after the game yesterday. Yes, we have Trader Joe's and Harbor Freight locations here in Atlanta, just none that close to my house.I sure hope the trashing of our baseball coach and program will cease and desist at least for awhile. It sure is looking good so far. Love any win over UGA.Makes living here a lot more pleasant.
