Playing hungry, fast, aggressive. Clearly the better team this weekend.
I know we got a lot of injuries, but we better get some swagger back.

Listening to the radio broadcast, they went through the injury report and the number of 3rd/4th string players at certain positions and commented we are lucky it hasn't bit us in the bu** before now.
Wasn't able to watch until 7th inning, was Kingston ejection justified? Why was pitch clock not reviewed?
Yeah he went off the rails. No way they were gonna review it. LolWasn't able to watch until 7th inning, was Kingston ejection justified? Why was pitch clock not reviewed?
Indeed it's easy to review. The issue is if, according to the rules, it's reviewable. What's the rule on that? Don't they have to review if coach asks for it? That's easy to review without a judgement call being made.
I would hope so!Indeed it's easy to review. The issue is if, according to the rules, it's reviewable.
Now I am not in favour of pitch clocks or the like. However, too many pitchers and batters have abused the situation by taking more than a "reasonable" amount of time between pitches. Heck, if it was up to me, I would ban batting gloves, thereby not giving batters a chance to adjust their gloves after every pitch (sheesh).
But if you're going to have pitch clocks, then enforce it. Methinks the umpire will be having a "constructive" conversation with SEC officials in Birmingham.

Then it's a dumb idea that needs to go away. Random enforcement is not acceptable! Particularly if it costs the team a base runner.Pitch Clock violations are not reviewable.
Not to mention most ballparks don't have a pitch clock positioned where the pitcher can see it.Then it's a dumb idea that needs to go away. Random enforcement is not acceptable! Particularly if it costs the team a base runner.
Hard German accent:Not to mention most ballparks don't have a pitch clock positioned where the pitcher can see it.
Don't hold your breath. If nothing else, let's hope that Birmingham reviews the Sunday situation and implements consistent application/enforcement, or do away with it.
The main takeaway needs to be consistency.

In general, if we act responsibly, there's no need for rules to curb behaviour.Rules are like taxes. Once implemented, they never go away!
