Siary tore it up in Summer League play, but he has been hit hard in his two appearances this year. It’s disappointing to watch. I was hoping he would be a bright spot on the pitching staff this season.

We should hit this guy hard. His slider is garbage. Leaving fastball up.

Exactly what we have been discussing. Two runners on with two outs and we watch two fastballs and not attack. Passive bullshittt

That Hujsak AB is an example of what the Bruce thread was saying. Runners in scoring position, 3-1 count, fastball down the pipe and took it for a strike. Strikeout on outside slider next pitch.
It really makes me wonder, do our guys not have a general strategy for an AB, such as "I've got runner in scoring position so I should be aggressive if I get into a hitter's count" or "runner on 3rd less than 2 outs so I should be looking for something to drive/fly to get the run in". Or are we just approaching it pitch by pitch and are bad at guessing? It sure seems like we guess offspeed and get fooled by a FB down the pipe an awful lot...

Stupid. You need to hit good counts, not take.

This must be a joke. Why pull Siary ?? We can't hit at all. SEC play is gonna be rough.

We need to sit fastball. Dude hasn’t thrown a breaking pitch in the zone yet.

This pitcher gonna mow us down and then get a plate full of Country Pleasin’ from our fans afterward.
Last year, that guy was 1-6 with a 8.88 ERA. I still think we win today though. He probably won’t go deep & we’ll get runs in the bullpen.

Austin Peay is quietly building a national powerhouse with an incredible NIL that has let them load up on talent. They have players up and down that lineup we'd be lucky to get. Wait, I got that all wrong. I'm thinking of someone else. It's likely gonna be another tough year. But we won a Natty and don't forgot about the wad of cash we threw on that stadium. Man do we need desperately need leaders who make wise decisions.

We need to recoup the money spent on the stadium. Start with the Loungers.

Their pitcher is a 2-way guy. Started every game as DH last year. Hit .351, 16 hrs, 51 RBIs.

This in addition to 13 starts on the mound.

We’re letting a 9 ERA mid-week guy from a non P5 school throw 65 pitches in 5 innings of work and give up 0 runs and very few little Punch and Judy base hits.
Do any of you all really expect us to all of a sudden find our bats and find exceptional pitching in the next 60 days?
And if we dont, probably more like in the next 45 days, we will be looking at a Sub 500 finish and 3 straight years of not making the Tournament.
A lot of folks said on here when Lemonis was hired it was a bad hire.
He sure as hell did more with guys he didn’t recruit than he’s doing with ones he did.
We’ll be lucky to finish 13th in the SEC.

Dakota Jordan showing some attitude after that walk. Tossed the bat back towards our dugout. Looked like he was chirping at their dugout on the way to 1st too.

I don’t hate it.

Fun fact,, remember when we lost to Northern Kentucky in 2022? That pitcher just entered the game for Peay. Hopefully can get things tied, or take the lead here.

Lost to them with Landon Sims on the mound, amazingly.

Bases loaded with nobody out and we get one stinkin' run. We struck out on a pitch in the other batter's box that would have been a walk. Awful
