The future of U.S. soccer is looking better than ever. Lots of young stars on this team. The Netherlands won the last 2 European U-21 championships with the same team the U.S. played today and for most of the match, the U.S. dominated. Sucks they got the tying goal in the 93rd minute, but it was still a great performance. Need a tie vs. Nigeria to advance now.

(I had recorded the game). I didn't click on that post and just assumed he WAS talking about the MSU offense. Then after watching the game and reading his post I realized he was talking about the soccer game. BTW, the final was 2-2, for 4 scores in 2 hours (real time). In the average football game you see maybe 5-6 touchdowns (fewer for MSU games) in 3 hours. So which is more "boring?" For anybody who's ready to jump up and down defending football, that was a sarcastic question. I did NOT say that football is boring. Just making a point that there's a hell of a lot more to any athletic contest than the actual scoring plays.

Great game for sure. It was a bummer they scored so late, poor challenge in a bad spot. Great shot for Dutch guy to sneak that under the wall though, they had to try and protect upper 90 being that close.
