Anyone get notice if they got tickets yet or not? Impatiently awaiting(I know its based on NLC points).
Got two in the 2nd row in the 600 level for $57 each on Gametime, all in with fees etc.I have no idea what the tickets cost if you go through PSU but if you don't get them, there are a lot on the resale market. If you simply want to get through the door there are a ton of 600 level seats available for under $30.
Every hotel in town jacked up their prices, especially for Saturday night.Hotels were very tight Sunday, maybe slowly opening up now that the Bucknuts reset reality
Oh, the gouging is on for sure, was talking about availability, maybe it’s opened up since early Sunday.Every hotel in town jacked up their prices, especially for Saturday night.
How bad are these seats- I jumped on as well- the picture on game time doesn't look all that badGot two in the 2nd row in the 600 level for $57 each on Gametime, all in with fees etc.
I'm sure you'll do fine. How bad are these seats- I jumped on as well- the picture on game time doesn't look all that bad
Cold weather championship game? It’s an indoor stadium!PSU fans have historically traveled en mass to bowl games. Go see your beloved Nittany Lions and combine it with a warm weather vacation.
Now the options are divided between a cold weather championship game in Indianapolis, a cold weather 1st round game in State College, and a 2nd round game in a traditional bowl game location that may or may not happen.
I predict poor attendance but this is all about TV money.
Yes but it's in a cold weather climate. I don't think too many people are looking at a December trip to Indianapolis as a vacation.Cold weather championship game? It’s an indoor stadium!
It doesn't need to be a vacation. The trip could be made with only one missed day of work. Or maybe no missed work at all if arriving on Saturday morning/afternoon is an option. The money would be the same as I vacation though so I get that. It all depends on how much the money matters to a person.Yes but it's in a cold weather climate. Dude - it's a weekend trip. We zip in, we watch the game, we zip out. Bada bing, bada boom. I leave after lunch Sat and get home before lunch on Sunday.Yes but it's in a cold weather climate. I don't think too many people are looking at a December trip to Indianapolis as a vacation.
FF miles, free shuttle to the hotel from/to the airport for one night, uber to/from game and game tix. Not really that expensive. It doesn't need to be a vacation. It will be a great game to see. I just think a lot of people will plan to attend a home playoff game instead. And who is also going to a NY bowl game if we get that far? Some will but I don't think a lot are going to all 3.Dude - it's a weekend trip. We zip in, we watch the game, we zip out. Bada bing, bada boom. I think you spend too much time worrying about things that are not that big of a deal.It will be a great game to see. I just think a lot of people will plan to attend a home playoff game instead. Which is kind of like Southern Poland.which was actually filmed in northern Kentucky.
You didnt think it was filmed in Czechoslovakia did you?which was actually filmed in northern Kentucky.
There's a parking garage attached to a shopping mall in walking distance to Lucas Oil Stadium. I've parked there each time for BIGCGs and Steelers at Colts games.Anyone with experience traveling to Lucas Oil stadium? Parking around the stadium seems to be ~$60+ with a few exceptions. Is there a remote lot and shuttle like other stadiums do?
I just prepaid for a spot there. It's attached to the convention center via an enclosed walkway so no need to even step outside for all the pregame festivities at the convention center. There's a parking garage attached to a shopping mall in walking distance to Lucas Oil Stadium. I would imagine since Oregon is ranked higher, they would be the home team.Is PSU wearing the whites?
Looking at a map there seems to be free on street parking within less then a 1/4 mile of the stadium on some of the streets south off McCartyAnyone with experience traveling to Lucas Oil stadium? Good luck finding one, though. The zoo often offers parking for special events. I've parked there for Indy Indians games. Not a bad walk.Looking at a map there seems to be free on street parking within less then a 1/4 mile of the stadium on some of the streets south off McCarty
I’m debating it. 3 hour drive for me, but I’m not sure they’ll let me bring my couch in with me and tell all the other people in the room to stop talking.Who’s heading to Indy on Saturday?
