I have been a Gamecock fan for a very long time 41 year member of the Gamecock Club. Needless to say I have seen a lot of football games at Williams Brice Stadium. I am going to give you my five most memorable
games that I have witnessed at Williams Brice Stadium. Before I post them let me mention an interesting viewpoint from an opposing team fan. We got to talking and he said "you know all the venues in the SEC are
special but what I witnessed tonight was far and beyond all fan experiences that I have experienced. Absolutely amazing is what he told me. No other fan can honestly say that what the South Carolina fan base exhibited
and their marketing department is truly outstanding. Far and above the best experience. Then I went to several media sites all they talked about was the fan experience and what the USC marketing department has done is
truly amazing. With that said here are my top 5 "Barnyard Classics". These are mine and I know everyone has their own memorable games. Tell me yours.

Number 5: Has to be the night when Southern California came to the "Yard". What a classic Joe Morrison's team put on that night at the 'Yard"

Number 4: Coming in at number 4 has to be the FSU game when Raynard Brown took the second half kickoff and took it to the house and the Gamecocks went on to win that night in truly special game.

Number 3: Has to be the 1998 game against Tennesse when Hank Campbell stopped a 2 point conversion and the Gamecocks provided an instant SEC Classic.

Number 2: The 2010 game against Alabama. Boy what a show by the Steve Spurrier's Gamecocks as they went on to beat Alabama.

Number 1: Has to be the Saturday night game against Tennessee. Noone gave the Gamecocks a snowball's chance to win that game except Shane Beamer and the players in that locker room. Wow! What a game by USC

on both sides of the ball. Spencer Rattler looked like the player we have been waiting to see and boy did he put on a performance that will go down in Gamecock lore and will provide an SEC Classic for the ages.

Surprised not to see the 2012 Georgia game on the list. Last Saturday was great, but still believe that game was the best Game a Gamecock Football team has played.

Good list. Upsetting UGA one week after breaking a 21 game losing streak was pretty insane too.

Remember all those games and I agree with your rankings. #3 was great, as we had just joined the SEC.🏈

Good list. I'm sure others will post alternatives to your #1, but there's really no other alternative. For all the factors surrounding this game, it has to be #1. They weren't the highest ranked opponent we ever beat, but it was a bludgeoning. The 2010 Bama game was great, but it was pretty competitive and had some "oh no!" moments (e.g. the Garcia safety). We played nearly flawless against UT. No major mistakes, aside from typical penalties.

You lost me at number 3. In 1998, Tennessee beat us 49-14 where there QB set some sort of consecutive completion record in the NCAA. Hank Campbell's infamous tackle was in 1992.

Based on my surroundings, I'd have to add the 2 Georgia games. Both made my day. Another was when Jim Carlen accomplished a goal and USC(us) finally beat UGA. Forgot the year. We hit a long td pass to seal the deal and Carlen finally had a victory over Ga. Carlen stated when he came to Carolina and his coaches went recruiting hs in Ga., they were told these recruits are SEC prospects. Your group is over here. The scrubs. Carlen finally overcame that image and pulled better prospects from Ga. Like a kid named Rogers

I assumed the OP didn't witness the 2012 game in person. Because you are right, Ace Sanders' return of that punt that put us up 21-0 in the first quarter was probably the apex of Gamecock football to this point.
