Baseball game tonight

I have been off the board for a couple of days, so if this has been discussed, my bad. The promotion of the game at Autozone Park tonight is f'ing awful. I live in Desoto County and have not heard the first mention of it on the radio, etc. I can't even find any information regarding tickets on the our athletic website. Commom sense has allowed me to overcome all of these obstacles, but my point is that the athletic department should have done something to get the word out, and promote it. Do we not recruit out of this area. Correction; Do kids from this area not go to Ron's camps?

Memphis area guys, please correct me if I am wrong, and have missed aomething. Word of mouth by State alumni is the only time I have heard mention of the game.

Well, to be fair it is a home game for Memphis, and I imagine that they are running all of the promotional stuff, even though it's a "neutral site game", it's still not like the Governor's Cup which is truly a neutral site.

I don't blame Memphis State for not promoting our baseball program, as they have some problems of their own.

BTW, they turned down Dan McDonnell to hire Daron Schoenrock off of Polk's staff, and they are now 11-19 or something like that.

We had ordered like 400 hot dogs, cokes, chips etc. for the first 400 who wanted them. We also put up signs, and have people come hang out on the right field patio. Unfortunately we got rained out. So I had to cancel the food, and probably won't do it for the make-up game at Nat Buring.
