Just saw that Konnor Griffin from Prep reclassified from 2025 to 2024. #1 player in the country in 2025, and looks to be top 5 for 2024. Would be a huge get, in the case he makes it to a college campus. Anybody got any scoop on him?

His father, Head Softball Coach at Belhaven, was recently interviewed on Jack Wimberly's afternoon show. Sounds like a good family, said the kid started getting recruited in the 7th grade (unofficially) and didn't really show his potential until he started playing U12. MLB was scouting him in the 7th grade.

Let's hope he wants a little of the college experience.

not necessarily. he was a hold back (already 16) so this gives him 3 years of college before the draft instead of just 2 if he decides that route. seems like a smart decision either way.
