Not sure why not just go the short throw to 2nd there
Batter took a couple of nice cuts on those first 2 fastballs. That was nerve racking at the end. Huge K.

On the replay it didn't look to me that Braswell covered, Wimmer definitely looked there before going to fisrt.

This was my thought earlier in the season when it looked as if they were leaning towards Veach as closer. Austin is a more imposing figure but Veach has the better stats to this point. I am sure the coaches will do the right even if it is closer by committee....
