The baseball team managed a 14-0 no-hitter today. Just thought I’d share. This forum is gonna be an absolute graveyard once basketball is over apparently.

Hopefully all gets ready for Clemson series. I've always looked at that series as the beginning of the gauntlet. SEC starts then it's hold on for ride.
Great start, seeing alot of pitching .
This was in 7 innings as the 10 run rule was in effect. Miami also gave up 16 walks which is 2.3 per inning. Don't think I have never seen a game with that many free passes. And we only had 8 hits....

I think it just sneaks up on people being the mid-February start and playing northern teams that usually are seen as a scrimmage that counts! It will start cranking up Clemson weekend. In general though the move or split of the message board service has hurt the overall product, kind of like the professional golf!
AtlantaCock and Kingward will be out in full force after a loss. Rarely hear from them when we are winning.
I also noticed our guys seem to have a little more attitude, I love it if they can back it up when it counts, if not it’s not a good look!
I see a probable starter as being Eddie Copper today and Becker tomorrow.
I don’t know much, but I’m surprised we’re not getting some other position players a little playing time!
Miami-O and Winthrop both looked a long, long way from playing decent baseball. We are not going to know much about this team until we get to Clemson, or SEC play. I am still pessimistic about this season, until proven otherwise. Any way it goes, Go Gamecocks!
Agree. Won't know a whole lot. What I do know is that UF has already lost a series, and both Wake and Vandy both lost mid week games this week. So at least we got that going for us.
You're supposed to win - especially against inferior opponents - and especially at home. Anyhow, KWI stands at 1.000.
Yeah his swing is significantly bigger than last year. He's cocked so far back the nob of the bat is pointing at the ump's head and the barrel rapped around the back of his head. I don't recall that being the case last year. Hate seeing a guy go that big. Swing reminds me of Jacob Olson... our number 4 hitter a few years back. Pretty sure he went undrafted.

Definitely needs to shorten it up, he would be much more efficient if he did! I'm a much bigger fan of short and compact like Austin Riley compared to long like Matt Olson!

I've seen that happen before where a rain delay will cause a broadcast to I'm guessing go past it's allotted time maybe? After the delay in the third it picked back up for a few innings then I get the "technical difficulties" message as well. Just so happened that message came at exactly the 4 hour mark of the original start. A least that's what I got at that time. It's like someone didn't it a switch or something. IDK.
