Anyone recall the game 30 years ago when PSU got robbed against IU in basketball? IU was top-ranked at the time and Knight intimidated a ref to make a no-call. Parkhill went crazy afterward.

Then, later that year there was a really entertaining football game with Indiana. Anyone out there remember Thomas Lewis? He was incredible! That was one of the best individual efforts a player had against Penn State. When he got drafted by the NY Giants- I honestly thought he was going to be the next Jerry Rice. He must've had injuries because I don't recall too much of his career in the NFL.

Non-call? A Penn State player was going for an uncontested basket and his shirt was pulled from behind by a Hoosier. A foul was called. An offensive foul! The result was OT and an Indiana win.

Yeah, I remember the game.

Please take this opportunity to remember that Penn State has always been respected by the big ten.

good memory. Bartrum's shirt was pulled. He then used his right arm to try to clear away the hold, and the ref called the offensive hold on that. Just an atrocious call.

It's around the 1:54 mark on this video:

Quite probably the worst call I've seen in just about any sport.

As bad a call as ever happened during a game!!
Re-Thomas Lewis-We did NOT always have players like Joey Porter Jr. and Kalen King at CB-we made Thomas Lewis a lot of money!!

Was in rec hall that night in first row on baseline. What an awful call! Maybe the worst call in history against PSU hoops. Bartrum's jersey was grabbed and he got the foul. We drank away our sorries later over many Lagers at Zeno's. We heckled the hell out of Bobby Knight that night after he made some really negative statements about State College in the press conference leading up to the game. After the game press conference, Knight admitted that the sold out Rec Hall environment was a great college hoops crowd.
