Who is bringing the toilet paper rolls to throw on court after fist PSU basket ala Big 5 tradition? At least that’s what I’ve seen on social media. So, err on the side of supporting the white out and please wear white if attending Sundays game against Purdue at the Palestra. Thanks!
Yes it was.Sweetest rims in the world.
Back when I played HS basketball our coach took the team to the Palestra to hear Digger Phelps do a motivational thing....he talked about the rims.
After the talk we got to go down and shoot a foul shot....one shot each because there were 1000 kids there.
That's a long time ago, so I'm sure they've been replaced a few times since, but the Palestra was once known for its great rims.
And be prepared to sweat your a$$ off! Iowa game a few years ago was brutal...

Purdue #25 Ethan Morton from Butler, PA is a great player and an even better young man. Watch him play and you’ll see he does all the little things that don’t often show up in the box score.
Not me..I don't have a square to spare, can't spare a square!Who is bringing the toilet paper rolls to throw on court after fist PSU basket ala Big 5 tradition?

Anyone know what the Philly PSU alumni association has planned? They had breakfast for the Mich St and Iowa games...great time. However, both those games were noon or 2 o'clock starts....
No way...cheesesteaks and beer at Mike Schmidts bar!Lattes and scones at a local coffee shop?
Many of us hoped he’d play for PSU but it didn’t work out that way. It’s always good to see a W PA kid do well no matter where they play. And it’s even more sweet to see it happen for a kid of Morton’s character. It’s a good thing he plays for pu then.
