Kinda pissed at the way that team looked - looked like a bunch of thugs playing pickup ball in the street than a basketball team. Awful and inexcusable with the talent they have - heck when did they start practicing - yesterday- I honestly cannot believe how bad they looked - did not run any set plays and when they got open for a drive they tried to make fancy shots instead of just shooting
Rebounding man - just awful at the number of offensive rebounds UM has had - that’s the biggest difference
Fullwilly is the type of player that’s gotta get in a groove and when she does it’s lights out - DS hasn’t had her in long enough to get in a groove
Looked like Paris' first team - disjointed on offense the whole year.

Exactly. Like the team two years ago. The street ball look lasted the whole season.

From what I saw tonight, she looked a bit slow, raw and timid. Hopefully she turns it on quickly.
Probably too soon for that, but they've got to get their junk wired tighter in a hurry. That was a terrible debut - terrible.
WBB—with this much talent, is it actually a bad thing to keep rotating players in and out? Doesn’t it stymie a players rhythm and ability to work through slumps on the floor? How is a player supposed to find that groove?
Men - #11 in SEC may be over rated. No apparent coaching, no plan, no teamwork, no energy. I did not see anything positive.
Women - did not look prepared - players did not seem to communicate on offense and especially defense. Bunch of players need to step up. As much as I love her, Chloe cannot carry team. We need the player who can't be mentioned.

They are running the same plays. It really bothers me when you guys go the street ball and thug route after 1 game. SMH. Guys didn't play well at all. Didn't shoot well. Missed FTs all night. CMB didn't look in shape and ready to play, but street ball? Nah. That's a "you" issue.
I think the bigger issue is not just that we got outplayed but that we looked completely terrible, uncoached and unprepared.
But, we looked completely terrible against ODU in Game 1 for football, so who knows?
It also hurts the optics because we were overall so disciplined in our play last year. The sloppiness last night was jarring to see.
Also, UCF is Quad 1. UNF is Quad 4.

Who said "thug"? I didn't say "thug". I would say "playground" or "street" and I wouldn't be wrong, either.
Agree we really miss the 3 players from last year. But how in the world did we get out rebounded? They had 15 offensive rebounds alone. It is too early to tell but doesn’t look like we did as well in the portal as I hoped. But it’s only one game.
A guy before you said thug and you followed up on it with the street ball term. Interesting that you make that observation with a Black coach coming off a Tournament season. He is running the same Bo Ryan actions that he has been running since he came here. I guess it's street ball when you lose. Style of play didn't lose that game. Shooting 14-25 from the FT Line was a contributor to the loss. Missing several uncontested shots at the rim was a contributor to the loss. Getting out rebounded by 7 to a team much smaller than you was a contributor to the loss, but it wasn't style of play. What did you want them to do? Run the 3 Man Weave All Game? From previous discussions, you haven't paid much attention to basketball since the 1960's, so maybe you did want them to run the 3 Man Weave all game.
I know how it looked. If you're honest, you know how it looked. How it looked is the way it looked two years ago, and what is was two years ago resembled street ball. And, as a matter of fact, in both instances, the weave might have yielded improvement.
