and I know he will inevitably leave MSU with a bad taste in his mouth, and probably will compete with us for recruits. I will forever hate Polk for creating this ridiculous situation.

with all of the vim and vigor that he has exhibited in his tenure at MState.

Go get 'em, Tommy!

How interesting. KB21 makes up something and then it actually comes true after the fact. What are the odds of that?

Anyway, I wish him well.

agreed except for the "forever hate" part. i will just hate his old *** for a while.

i hope tommy gets the job over there. it would be a very good move for him and if he does very well he could always be a candidate for the inevitable next search that we have. </p>

I hope he donates a nice chunk of his money back to MSU because he will be the greatest doctor in history if he can do that.

Then again, do we really want him as a cigar boy?

It would be typical MSU luck that Raffo would go to Auburn and win multiple NC's and become the Rod Dedeaux of this century.

somewhere else. it's just human nature to be more driven if you go into a totally new situation in a new environment with a lot to prove. at state, it's just old hat with new responsibilites. he's been there too long and is too comfortable with everything and everyone. it's not like he's going to show up the day after he's hired at state ready to crack some skulls and unleash some superhuman coaching ability.

after the idiocy he's shown throughout this whole Polk saga. How could a Dr. be so damn stupid and narrow-minded is beyond me.

come to fruition. Preferably tomorrow so it will ease my mind. In all seriousness, I really would like to see this happen and I would wish him the best until they played us. I've always said Tommy needs to be head coach somewhere, just not here. I sincerely hope he gets the top job at a place where he can be successful.
