signing day has come and gone, so I assume the staff is remaining intact at this point. No reason changes shouldn’t have been announced by now.

Maybe planning a New Year's Day surprise. lol
If not, disappointing that Beamer does not see the need to make changes.
Could at least bring in Santucci as a Co-DC which is what he was at Duke.

Shortsighted knee jerk reactions from our fans are our millstone. Publicly criticizing players and coaches is counter productive.

Yeah, changing another coordinator is a sure fire way to improve the team. Look how much better the offense looked with the new coordinator.

If i’m Tanner- i’m letting Beamer do what he does in 2024. Whatever he asks of me e between now and then he will get.
But if we don’t have 8 regular season wins. Without warning, I am gifting Gamecock Nation with the firing of the entire staff. From the Coaches to the office workers to the social media tech guy. Start completely new.

It will take Ameridis firing RT first. RT is not cleaning house. Not now, not ever.

Hey Super have you looked at our schedule? We will likely be favored in one SEC matchup. What makes you think we should win 8 games just out of curiosity?

I think it’s possible. I see A&M, LSU, and OU taking a step back. I don’t see clemmy being much better. If Sellers is 75% as good as we’re making him out to be, Rocket is 100%, and the OL isn’t decimated with injuries I think it’s possible. Also, I think getting the bulk of our D back is big. I like what we’re bringing in with the portal and this Hs class.

I hope people are preparing themselves for disappointment. A first year redshirt freshman qb and a transfer, recently injured RB playing behind what was a terrible OL isn't exactly a recipe for a high scoring offense. Counting on a bunch of true freshmen from the HS class to beat SEC programs seems a tad optimistic to me as well. Our D wasn't exactly a steel curtain this season either.

6 wins and a crappy bowl should be the hope for next season.

I agree about the outlook but not for the same reasons. Being a redshirt freshman doesn't mean what it used to mean. I think Sellers will be fine, particularly with a massively upgraded run game and an OL that can't help but improve (we hope).

The schedule is simply brutal.

Has Beamer fired ANYONE since becoming HC? If so, who? Does he have the balls to do the distasteful act of firing someone?

Is he wrong thoughh?

(Here's where we split hope and expectations) we all hope for more, but looking at our team and schedule, is anyone expecting more than 6 wins?

Or where we split hope and fantasy. In August, there will be people here laying out how we will win 10 games and get in the 12 team playoff. That is the definition of fantasy. Next season we have 4 gimme wins, Old Dominion, Akron, Vandy and Wofford. UK and A&M are the two SEC games I think we have a chance in. Win those two and we are at 6 wins. I HOPE we can do this. Unless the wheels come off at Clemson, I don't see a win up there next season.

It would be a miracle to get 6 wins.

Here we are, talking about it being a miracle to win 6 games, in season 4 of the Beamer era. If that does not well summarize the condition of our football program, not sure what would.

Old Dominion will be tough. Kind of like the Jax State game. We should win, but I wouldn't call them a gimme.

Did I see Clayton White‘s contract was extended?
To my knowledge there have not been any changes at all to the current coaching contracts.

There might actually be a riot if White were extended after our defensive performance this season. He's currently contracted through 2025.

I haven't seen that. His contract runs through 2025 already. If Beamer extended it, he and everyone that approved it should be fired immediately. IF White returns, he needs clear direction on what is acceptable for next year or he's done.

Having a sorry group of assistant coaches that zero other SEC schools would want is also counter-productive. No?
