If he loses 38-6 Florida 56-10 Tennessee and 34-7 to Clemson. I'm thinking these will be likely scores. He'll get to year 3 but next years schedule is very possible 7-8 loss type schedule. These thrashings is likely setting up 23 as the his last year if it goes off the rails which is probable.

If no change is made at OC and '23 falls the way you predict, he might well be done. Changing OC will buy some time for improvement and is the right move if he loves USC and wants to be here long term.

I agree but still, '23 will be his watershed year. Best he figure out how to score some points very soon. People love pinball machine numbers like we may very well see tomorrow.

Obviously the choice of OC is critical and must be one he his willing to put his career at SC on the line with. If he puts that trust in Satt for another year he's playing with fire.

It never should have been this dire this soon. Assuming two decisive losses just ahead, winning the otherwise inconsequential bowl will be a must to turn down the heat a little bit. But after that, he'll need to start making rain in a hurry.

Agreed. He will need to make some decisions in the next several months that will make him or break him. I think he will learn from his mistakes.
Several months? IF he hasn't made these decisions already and gotten the ball rolling, then he is not the man for this job.

I'm not referring to the firing. That's a done deal. Do you think he has a new OC lined up? It wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't fire Satterfield until after the bowl game. I hope I'm wrong but...

Lol. Ready for the bot to be disbanded. Isn't there any kind of legislation that can be passed

Signature win. Makes a lot of us look very wrong with our dire predictions, especially if we can get more of those quality recruits visiting to join those already committed.

Who the heck do you think chooses the BOT? They aren't going to give up that power voluntarily.
