When was the last time our offense bludgeoned a team like that. They wanted nothing to do with tackling Sanders or Sellers the last 7 minutes of the game. Their defense was totally spent.
I believe he was going to slide, and changed his mind.I definitely enjoyed the Sellers run in the 2nd quarter when he planted his feet and bulldozed the A&M defender for the last couple of yards for the first down.

He sized the kid up and decided he was the hammer, not the nail.I believe he was going to slide, and changed his mind.
One difference from the earlier play, where he slid a yard short of the line to gain, is that this play was at the sideline and he could see the down marker right there. There was no way that d-back was going to stop him short. He knew we needed those two yards for the first down and was determined to not come up short.

Not to take anything away from the offense, but when the defense keeps giving the ball back to your offense, it doesn't take long for their defense to get gassed. It was nice to see a real 1-2 punch. And what about Rocket sanders? He just puinshed tacklers. Over 500 yds offense against a strong defense, amazing. Some will say the 4th quarter was “garbage “ yards ant A&M quit. They did quit, because we beat the life out of them.
