Another wasted Scholly or Future Transfer??
Time will tell..
Glad we beat out UAB, Bradley & Wichita State to sign him... WOW...

Osby and Bost on the other hand had some real offers from other schools..
Kansas and VT to name a couple..

We still have the 10th best class in the nation

i wouldnt even put us in the top half of the SEC.

Scout is fooling itself(and apparently others) if they honestly think we are in the top 10.

at the last minute, we could have done worse (BTW, I don't think we're in position to really crack on Bradley anymore).

As for the other two, they are big time signees. I underestimated Bost for sure. I read this in an article about the prep national championship. Several high 1A signees played in the tournament, so keep that in mind.

Future Mississippi State guard Dee Bost earned tournament MVP honors as he scored a combined 90 points in Hargrave's three wins, including a game high 26 in the finals. Simply put, Bost was the best player on the court every time he suited up. He shot the ball tremendously well throughout the week knocking down at least four three-pointers in each game. But he was far from one dimensional as his shooting prowess opened up the lane which allowed him to showcase his ability to attack off the bounce.

Is that in his interviews he states being a good "floor general" as one of his attributes. His downside is that he can't shoot from outside, but we've got plenty of guys that can do that. What we need is a guy who can set our shooters up for good shots so hopefully this guy fits the bill. If he can handle the rock and see the court and deliver passes where the shooters like them and feed the post well, then that's more than fine with me. It's what we've been lacking.

At 6'5 he has the size to be a good defensive guard as well

I hate to break it to you, but we don't have any good outside shooters unless Randy's season this year was just a sophomore slump.

because of his quick release and he is gone. Benock is going to have to step it up and shoot the rock. Damn the Rule 17ing three point line being moved back. Now ALL we will face is zone defense EVERY trip down the floor.

cunningham said that North Carolina came after Bost hard the last week before signing day. Roy Williams saw that Bost was firm to us and wished him well at MSU. Cunningham also made the comment that Roy Williams doesn't recruit committed players, as sort of a jab at Pearl. If UNC was looking and considering Bost, he must be the real deal. Plus Osby has big boy offers. UT, Texas and Kansas were hard after him. Add Beckham and one more and thats a damn good class.

this would also be a jab at Cunningham's own team. we recruited Benock even though he was already comitted to William & Mary of the CAA.

so, i guess we should all say way to go Cunningham on ripping on your own team?
