Been 16 years since my son saved my life….

Was going to post this yesterday, but another medical issue arose.
Apologies to those who recall the story. Late February 2007 my then 7-YO son and I wrestle. He smacks me in the most tender of spots. Testicles hurt for several days and I finally get checked.
Testicular cancer and 3/20/07 I have cancerous right one taken out. Doctor says since it was unnoticed, likely would have spread. “Your son likely saved your life”.
About a year ago I had 2 carcinomas and one melanoma taken off. One on the back was size of 1/2 dollar and 1/8” deep.
All check ups - testicle and back - are are negative and I’m cancer free.

Couldn’t post yesterday due to the fact I was having a kidney ROCK removed. Definitely not a stone when it measures 1.5 cm x .75 cm. Now living with the lovely stint. And, doctor is out next week so I cannot get it out until the 31st!!

Thanks for letting me share. My faith in God and support of my wife and son ( who takes the opportunity to tell me he saved my life when I give him grief for something ) sustain me.

I’ll add to your good news with my mom (real one) survived breast cancer and last week was taken off cancer meds after 10 years. She’s 87 yo. Tough farm girl. Cheers to you!
