Belmont in the process of woodshedding our women’s team..

University or High School. The high school is usually pretty good.
For those that missed it: Belmont tied the game with 3.3 seconds remaining, only to bump Destiny McPhaul as she attempted to shoot from beyond halfcourt at the buzzer. They put 0.2 back on the clock and McPhaul made all 3 FTs.
Just an absolutely baffling decision by the Belmont player.

And didn't help ourselves coming down the stretch with clank after clank at the FT line. Had to have missed 7 of 8 it seemed but Dogs win again.
Also baffling by our staff, with that little time left you have to chunk it into the front court when inbounding and throw up a prayer, you can't inbound it under the goal (Tyus Edney wasn't on the court). Fortunately Belmont was even more incompetent.
Slept through three quarters and outscored them by 11 in the 4th.
19 17'n turnovers. They are not improving that stat at all. We have a starting PG who had 1 assist and 4 turnovers.
They might make the tournament on depth and having one great player, but I'm not seeing a team that is improving.
Jerk had 24 points and 15 rebounds, but her and Russell were 1-9 at the line. How is that even possible for two college guards?
