Why not 10?Nine… I say NINE scoring wrestlers!
I was thinking, how soon before the obvious, how soon question? How soon before we see Brege on the mat in a Penn State singlet?
I know not to ask with Spyker gone.I was thinking, how soon before the obvious, how soon question?
Congratulations, you win, just over a half hour in. I know this board is connected, but really?
The answer, ' whenever the f#@& he pleases'.
10 when Wick’s credits finally transfer right before B1G Ten Tourney. Oh, the Iowa reaction would be epic.Nine… I say NINE scoring wrestlers!
Like to know if he’s been training in our room. Any info Tom ?Fortunately, I decided to log on to see what I've been missing, and stumbled upon this.
This is a shocker to me. I really thought he was done. When I first heard that he was going to coach at SDSU, I do remember thinking it would be tough to be a good coach without participating in wrestling on the mat during practices. And if you were wrestling in practice, the likelihood of a repeat head injury would be pretty much the same as if you were competing. As such, I wondered if his recovery was more complete than I had been lead to believe. (Serious head injuries are so tricky to prognosticate in terms of when an individual will be fully recovered. No two injuries are alike, no two people get the same injury from identical impacts, and no two people with pretty much the same injury recover at the same pace.)
I'm elated for Brady, as I don't think we ever truly saw him at his best at PSU. He was thrust into a starting role a bit early, and just seemed to be coming into his comfort level when he suffered the head injury during the college offseason.
This certainly does add an unexpected wrinkle to PSU's team, and to the NCAA team competition.
I wish Brady the best of luck, continued good healthy, and am looking forward to seeing him compete once again for PSU.
What an unexpected, and quite pleasant, surprise.
You think 149 is a scoring weight ?Nine… I say NINE scoring wrestlers!
Bartlett will AA. All his matches will be decided by 1-2 pts.You think 149 is a scoring weight ?
Crap! According to Mr. Guns, that's one too many.Nine… I say NINE scoring wrestlers!
I didn’t read the entire message at first and I thought the same thing. When I first saw it, I thought he was going to wrestle for the jackrabbits
They are delusional. They rip on Cael for taking transfers, which Brady is not, yet they conveniently forget names like DeSanto, Lugo, Eirman, Teasdale, and Downey. Funny how that group can move he goalposts any time they want to fit their narrative.WOW,WOW,WOW!!! Welcome back Brady! Can't wait to see you compete again! Shocker of the Year! BTW, if you want to be entertained ,visit the Iowa Wrestling board. They are going crazy with this news!!
**** Iowa and **** Michigan. Words to live by.They are delusional. They rip on Cael for taking transfers, which Brady is not, yet they conveniently forget names like DeSanto, Lugo, Eirman, Teasdale, and Downey. Funny how that group can move he goalposts any time they want to fit their narrative.
True. Did he divulge the extent of his knee injury in his career change announcement (I don’t think so)? A full ACL repair — unless he’s been chatting with Spencer — would have him hitting 95% in March. Given his propensity to be in close matches it would be cutting it close. Maybe he didn’t need a full repair. While this obviously is great news for Brady (foremost) and Penn State fans (begrudgingly secondarily), we should also temper our expectations and not expect the world of Brady. First of all, coming back to this level of competition is not overnight (practice is a helluva lot different than competition), and we should remember that Brady was not an offensive juggernaut during his healthy years. Can we hope for AA (for my benefit primarily, Brady's secondarily)? Abso-friggin-lutely. Should we expect it? I'm starting today with a No.
