is to call Woodruff and Lindgren and remind them how close we are to being on top. How they can be part of taking us back to Omaha next year. I hope they watched the games this weekend. They have the chance to help get their State university baseball team back where we belong... Omaha.

I think we get Lindgren to come. Woodruff grew up a State fan and we have that going for us. He's from Wheeler, Mississippi. It's a lot easier getting that kid to come to MSU then it is if he was from Charlotte or somewhere like that. He will have to turn down a lot of cash from the Nats for us to get him.

although, they used to be in DC at one time as the Senators.

Anyway, back to the topic- I agree about Cohen calling not only them, but anyone else that we are recruiting as well. The exposure we got from this weekend is so valuable. We went from getting busted on by ESPN as "not having a chance" to being a "team on the rise" and the team that took Florida to the brink. Not to mention, anyone that watched Sportscenter today got to see Nick Vickerson's home run being played ad nauseum the past couple of days.

Everyone that's not all that familiar with baseball recruiting needs to remember- the first day that a scholarship can be officially offered is July 1. There are a ton of guys that are unsigned right now and this SR will be somewhat fresh in their minds.

I hate to say this because UF acted like a bunch of douchebags, but if they actually won the CWS, it would make us look that much better. We can also say that we beat three of the CWS teams at least once as well. And we beat two of them on the road at least once.

The only thing I want those pissants to win is the fastest flight out of Omaha.

Bunch ofarrogant winners the lot of em.

As for recruiting and the hopeful enrollment of the key signees from this year's class, we need to get those guys in. The numbers don't look too good for Mississippi talent for 2012 class, so we need to be solid. We will have to sign mostly out of staters in 2012.
