After seeing the thread about Cable, I got to wondering. What is the best service provider for ... Sports.. General Viewing.. Movies etc..

I have Amazon Prime and You Tube TV - You got a better deal? If so, Why.

Hulu and Amazon Prime only for me until a few minutes ago when I got ESPN Unlimited for football season. I don't have kids so that limits the need for expensive services, although, I don't understand needing all those because I get tons of free kid stuff w/out a pay service. I've got antennas on the roof so don't pay for networks, and there's more free stuff than we could ever watch in a lifetime.

I just use Roku and an antenna. No point in wasting money on a service anymore. Just stream a couple things and ESPN app for sports.

I have directv stream and I split it with my parents. If the fiancé could live without her reality shows I’d probably drop it and just do an antenna and the new espn package for $30/mo. I pay about $60/mo right now and get everything but HBO, showtime and Cinemax.

Pro Tip: if anyone has directv, contact them and tell them to add the espn unlimited perk to your account. Click the link on your “account overview” page and log into espn using your espn account (or create one if you don’t have one) and you’ll get all the ESPN+ channels in addition to the regular stuff you get logging in with your tv provider. This perk is included in your directv package. It’s free and if you’ve been paying for ESPN+ you’ll save the cost of that now.

cancel your TV package and sign up for ESPN Plus. If you ever need TV, you can sign up in less than 15 minutes and get it for that month and not renew.

Better no, I have added Tubi and Pluto, Paramount plus.. Freevee going away, at month end. Prime Video picks up that load.

I have youtube tv as my main and wife can navigate it. Gets her what she likes. I also have a jail broke firestick that is legit. Pay a monthly rate. It gets everything including pay per views, movies, and series'. And when I say everything I mean everything. If it is streaming I can get it.

The service I use has a brick and mortar store that programs the stick with their app, for a fee, and you pay a monthly service. The originator is in prison but not for this. Not sure who owns or runs it now but they are open everyday and probably have 100s or 1000s of customers. They've been in business for years.

With the new ESPN Unlimited streaming service, will recorded games be available post-broadcast? Or will I still need a way to record games if I'm not viewing live?

I’m using the fairly new MySports package with Direct Tv. Has all sports channels including The Golf Channel. Golf is a biggie for me so that’s why I got it plus CNBC, Fox Business, TNT, TBS,USA and a few other odds and ends. Not the cheapest at $70/mo but it covers most everything I like. I also have Paramount + and an antenna for locals. And of course there are free streaming services I occasionally watch like Tubi.
