The Big 10 have had 10 teams in years. If they can call themselves the Big 10 with 12 teams than they can call themselves the Big 10 with 18. They still have 10 (big) teams but with a bunch of smaller teams.

he's not wrong you know, this will be a **** show. It may marginally work for football, but the women's volleyball team traveling across country? NFL players/coaches talk all the time about how hard cross country trips are, and NFL have their own private planes housed near their facility.

Drinkwitz talked about it in a press release earlier this week about how terrible it is for baseball, basketball, volleyball, etc. that will have to make long trips for midweek games, then drive through the night to back at class the next morning. He pushed hard on the mental health of student athletes other than football.
