I think the plan is for his son to be "coach in waiting." Supposedly his son will handle recruiting, etc.

I wouldn't be surprised it this worked, especially in the ACC, a very low bar.

This model seems to be working in Boulder.

I read that part of the argeement was that UNC would increase their NIL budget from $4 million a year to $20 million a year. I definitely think they plan on running it like an NFL program with Bill being coach and GM which is what he wanted from an NFL team but couldn't get.

Agreed. Been listening to the talking heads today and they all what to point to all the pro coaches that did not do well in college. One host did point out that any of those that are before 2019 don't really count because it was totally different. One guy was saying how Belichick is going to have to find a QB. The host then pointed out that he doesn't have to wait to see if one is available when their pick comes up in the draft or that he fits within the salary cap as a free agent.

Basically Bill can probably get any QB he wants. He won't be subject to all the checks and balances of the Pro game.
