I'm very happy for him that he is cleared and healthy enough to get back into it. The empathetic side of me just wants there to be no further issues with his heart due to the countless upcoming football collisions he will encounter. Let him steer clear of anything remotely close to a recurrence, and then retire healthy and happy from playing.
Of course, I wish that for all college and pro players anyway.

I believe he has a problem, if hes cleared to play, he cant collect disability any longer, so what does he do for money?

I think you're right about being cleared and not playing meaning he forfeits the disability pay.
Not saying this is true in this specific case, but the NFL is notorious for clearing guys who are borderline healthy at best, having them sign off on it, and then cutting them or waiting for the player to decide he has to retire on his own.
Doing so in this case would be a PR nightmare for the NFL if he was not truly healthy enough to participate fully, so I think this clearance is legit.
But ya never know with the NFL.

I can't make decisions for this young man. So I'll just be happy he's recovering and wish him well.

It was an unfortunate, and scary, incident that affected a class individual. I wish him the best.
