Took my son to the Air & Space Museum today in Virginia (he's infatuated with space exploration specifically the Mars Rover) and we watched a 25 minute IMAX film about the (not so distant) future of space exploration (to Mars) and how NASA is modernizing space suits, living compartments, food, etc., to ensure astronauts who make the nearly 3 year round trip will have the best of everything they need. Really, really fascinating, and mind boggling the amount of math smarts it takes to undertake such things. Truly the pinnacle of human achievement.

This is so cool. My third grader is fascinated by it. I am going to see if the Franklin institute has anything similar in terms of IMAX films. When I try to process how vast our solar system/universe is my mind ends up in a pretzel.
