There was an earlier thread of where who do you think of when Penn State is mentioned, I stated LaVar. But Bo might become that. Funny thing is if you were to mention a wrestler David Taylor was who I always thought but its definitely Bo now.

Bo knows UFC.

Nike should do something with the BO knows with Nickal

I dont know man. Lavar for sure. Strong case for Franco as well. But Bo always talks about Penn State, still has strong ties to Happy Valley and is on the major rise. I dont' think you can narrow it down to 1. They're (were, RIP) the holy triumvirate (with respect to Rush).

Watch stricklands last fight (same weight class) and get back to me. The top 10 middleweights are animals and there are 2 or so up and comers that are also animals.

Exactly. If Potter is judging by Bo's PSU career that's one thing but the dude he beat last week took the fight last minute. Let's see what he does against real competition 25 fights in to give him the crown. His first 10-15 fights will be pansies to make him viable for a top card. That's just what the promoters do.

So far they are doing a great job bringing him along but I’m really looking forward (3 more cupcakes) to his first deep end fight. I’m confident he can get to top 10 or even a championship fight but 185 is full beast mode nothing given

I agree that Hackenberg played a large role in overcoming the Sandusky stigma. Focusing on a player, I think Mike Reid played a large role in helping Penn State football overcome 100 years of football mediocrity. Reid played a large role in moving the football program to the elite level.
