Just when you think college football can’t sink any lower with players being bought and sold and bolting their team and team mates at will here returns a moral leper like Petrine. Sorry example. Bawling out his qbs when he called stupid plays, bolting the Falcons the day after he assured the owner he was staying, leaving a letter in the player’s locker instead of manning up to their face, his motorcyle escapade, lying to the ad about it, I could go on because there is more but you get the picture.

There are some serious scumbag coaches on that staff. Durkin is the DC. Petrino speaks for himself.

TAMU will promote Bobby when Jimbo walks out with 80 million. They won't be able to afford anyone else LOL

Ha, yeah, I saw a headline saying A&M has assembled the most likable staff in college football. Obviously sarcasm.

Some pretty good one-liners in this article. The article also notes that Petrino is very obviously a settle hire for Jimbo after the A&M job was passed over by Riley, Briles, Montgomery and Longo. Article gives this relationship 2 years, max.

Texas A&M offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino has always been a man ahead of his time. And his current job

Many coaches have done the one-year stand for decades, but Petrino keeps doing it. And he has perfected the dramatic exit like virtually no one else.

God, if Elvis could have had that brief a stay in Vegas, he may have lived better and longer.

Petrino may also be the first coach in history to do the first interview for a job while at one job and the second while at another.

Vegas is in Petrino’s rearview mirror quicker than he could switch license plates – legally or otherwise. His stay from Dec. 15 through Jan. 3 is about two weeks less than UNLV students’ Christmas break, which started on Dec. 17 and ends on Jan. 17. So, if you’re a 2022-23 UNLV student, you conceivably could have never been in town at the same time as Petrino.

Petrino has never really deplaned. He sort of taxis on the runway everywhere.
