Yes, unless Tulane wins and they end up ranked higher than UNLV. They are currently ranked higher than UNLV, but seems like a win over Boise St would vault UNLV higher.

What happens if Boise St looks terrible and/or Jeanty is injured and they lose a close one to UNLV then unranked Army blows doors on Tulane? Army's only loss would be to Playoff Notre Dame

That is why I think they should put a minimum ranking on it. No teams outside of the top 14 in the 12 team playoffs.

TBH, they barely lost to Oregon... their only loss. The beat UNLV pretty handily a few weeks ago. They have the best RB in the country. Granted, the Mountain West isn't the SEC, but it's still a decent conference. Look at ND. No conference, no conference championship, the worst loss in the country and at home, gave up 500+ yards vs crappy So Cal. They are less deserving than Boise.

I wish teams would just refuse to schedule ND. I don't know why ANY SEC or BIG 10 team would ever willingly play them as a non-conference opponent. With the SEC network and Big 10 network money, they don't need the ND money. That would eliminate them from the opportunity to be the joke they always are in the playoffs.
