That's a killer for them. He's their leading receiver, by a long shot. He's made so many big plays for them this year. This could take UGA out of the playoffs.

It's gonna be a much tougher road for sure.

I think it 100% does. Without Bowers we would have beaten them, I'm 100% convinced of that. He's such a difference maker.

If you're Tennessee, now you're thinking about getting a win at Bama and going into UGA with only 1 loss and looking to take them down for the tie-breaker. That's if UGA makes it unscathed through their next 3 games, which I'm not convinced they will.

Hate it for Bowers. If Bowers had kept up his production, it would have been interesting to see if he might have been named Heisman winner. This takes him out of the running I'm afraid.

In all seriousness, I am trying to think back to the last time the Vols beat Alabama at Alabama. I had to goole the answer and the Vols beat a 3-5 Bama team 51-43 and it took five OT's to pull off that win in 2003. Next to Auburn, I would venture to say this is the team Bama fans hate the most. And come Saturday evening, the Bamas will be firing up those cigars for the 16th time in 17 years. There is no love-loss there.

With all the QB's hitting the NFL next year, I don't think he would have even been invited this year. He is a great player and will likely be the first TE drafted when he finally comes out.

Still waiting for all those Vols fans to return this week to our board and speak about how they played such a great half of football. Another moral victory for the Vols. Smoke em if you got em...but you don't.

If Georgia is in the SECCG and Bowers is able, he will probably play, if they are in the CFP I think he will likely play. I don't think he will come back for UT or their last game against GT. If he is able to play by the UT game he should be in medical journals.
