Predictions?

Watch some highlights from 1st game against Fordham, took opening kickoff 100 yds for TD. Defense was all over Fordham QB. I know its Fordham but, it seems they have some talent and are well coached. Will we struggle out of the gate coming down after last weekends success? Will we pounce on them quickly and have 3 TDs by end of 1st quarter? If we are as good as we think we are, I always go back to the 1994 season, many games against lesser opponents we were up 21-0 by the end of the first quarter. I think the final score should be in 50s and maybe letting up a TD/FG late in the game to them.

BG has an OT who's 6'9"" 380lbs.! Though he's not a starter.

I seriously doubt we have 3 TDs in the first quarter unless one of them is by the defense.

I wonder about Bowling Green.

They are big on the color orange yet they are called Bowling Green. Very sneaky misdirect, even distracting. Gotta keep an eye on people like that.

It’s funny to me that we full hog mock the 9 or so go state beat blue hen schools we play yet get mad when some of us ask to win a couple big games too. Hmmm

BG gets a TD on a busted play, DC Allen goes nuclear, and the D shuts them down the rest of the game
Kaytron and Singleton both go over 100 yds rushing
Allar with several TD passes and a couple TD rushes

BG is better than this thread seems to be giving them credit for ... I think we win, handily, but they are good enough that, if we have a weak spot, it'll be evident in this game. In that way, this is a great 2nd game ... a "sure" win, but good enough opposition to allow us to see, and work on, our problem areas. The line is around 35.5, and I think that's a great line - not sure if I'd take us to cover.

This seems to be the type of line among Vegas and media analysts. Typically, a top BIG team has not normally had that kind of difference with a top MAC program. when you look at MAC games their top teams take the BIG teams to end. Miami vs NW was a good example. The top BIG is usually around 21-28 better than their midpack BIG teams. There is a lot of talk about what QTR our backups will be playing. that is normally not what you want to the talk to be about and who is going to lose RS.

This feels more like 42-17 type game with first half tighter than expected.
