...discombobulated that I couldn't tell who was coming or going or pick out a complete sentence except for maybe from Jim Ellis. I think it was a nice microcosm of MSU athletics at the moment..

Well we wouldn't be that young if we would have recruited some good players to start with. The problem is that Powers, Sneed, and Butler are better than Bunky and Rutledge were.

you forgot the part when Jim brought up we only have 6 non-conference games left, and polk started joking about all the free gifts he missed out on by not announcing sooner, even asking who we started the season against, and couldn't remember the first half of who we played on the road.

`actually yes, because the grounds crew told both teams a bad weather front was heading there in 20 minutes, and he wanted to use his best option..
but after 2.2 innings and 33 pitches, he didnt feel he should push aarons arm anymore than that.

But after reading the explanation he gave in the post-game interview I completely agree with both his decision to put Weatherford in the game and to take him out after 2.2 innings.

Why put the game in the hands of a freshman when you have Lalor. I have no problem with the handling of Aaron, especially considering his arm, but Busby???
