Know the family…his mom texted my wife last night to tell her because she knows how we are with Penn state! We are pumped!!! Hopefully in a few years his younger brother follows him…he is going to be a stud!
He's heading into his senior year at Montoursville (PA) HS.
As a junior, he placed 2nd at 113 lbs. in PIAA Class AA. He lost in the final to Gavin Bradley (Athens), 4-3.
As a sophomore, he placed 3rd at 106 lbs. in PIAA Class AA. That was the year that the PIAA had super regionals to reduce the number of fans and wrestlers at States. He lost in the opening round to Cooper Hornack (Burrell), 4-3. In the Consolation R1, he defeated Chase Burke (Benton), 4-2. That moved him to the Consolation Semis, where he defeated Hunter Robison (Saegertown), 3-1 SV. In the Consolation finals (3rd place match), he defeated Ayden Smith (Notre Dame-Green Pond), 8-4.
As a freshman, he placed 1st at 106 lbs. in PIAA Class AA. He pinned his opponent in his opening match, decisioned his opponent in the quarters, 9-2, decisioned his opponent in the semis, 6-3. He then defeated Calan Bollman (Chestnut Ridge), 4-2 in the final.
