him and Pollock were decent in our secondary.
He was on the field a lot, but also seemed to be the guy getting burned a lot. Now as to why that was,
He was probably better than our other options, so he's on the field. Answers that part.
As to why he seemed to be bested by the WR so often,
Was it just shear numbers of being thrown at?
Was he always on the other team's best guy?
Was his performance really sub-par?
Was it because he had to cover too long because the DL couldn't pressure a QB?
Was it because coaching scheme put him in bad positions?
Which combo of the above was most likely?

But I do agree, that he and Pollock would have been the top 2 fav's to return at corner.

I'm certainly not qualified to make these evaluations, but to me Coleman was the best player on our team by a mile. Much harder to evaluate the D as we sucked so bad.
I agree. I think we'll miss Pollock badly as he was one of the few decent players on defense though.

How did we lose Pollock to Texas Tech? He was almost guaranteed to start.

Let me go on record as saying I don't like this...

Someone has to be the bad guy, it definitely would be me if I were the head coach. Once you went into the portal, you'd be in the portal.
