on the Final Drive they were talking about how perfect UM is playing. Anthony Herron commented they have almost no penalties, and how can you play so perfect to have no penalties. What is the coaching magic by Jimbo to have them playing with no penalties? Seems like they had several penalties in the CFP vs TCU.

That also requires some complicity with the officials. They're gazing in wonderment at UM's "perfection." :)

Big Ten refs did not work the UM game in the CFP!

UM has dominant linemen who can overpower opponents. When you have such a physical advantage you don't have to take chances that can lead to penalties.

TCU couldn't match up so they had to sling the ball around and hope to keep UM defenders off balance. It will be interesting to see PSU's approach this year. We don't have a TCU style offense but I doubt we're strong enough to beat them running between the tackles.

I'm old enough to remember when an official stated he met with a Michigan booster the week before doing the PSU Michigan game. No doubt they talked about the greatness of Michigan players. Things like how their receivers were so great that they could catch a sideline pass and always manage to get their heel inbounds.
