OK, let me preface this by saying I'm not one of those Dan Marino Old Waverly people, but anyway I saw Buck Showalter at the Chik-fil-a in Madison tonight. Let me also say, I don't think that seeing him at Chik-fil-a means that he is interested in the job, or is the frontrunner or means anything, other than we had the same craving for a delicious fried chiken sandwich. If he's looking to buy land in Madison, we better give him at least a three million dollar contract to offset the price of gas.

He was there with some people that looked like they were either family or friends, and he and the people he was with were kind of dressed up. Pretty sure it wasn't an MSU official, and it certainly wasn't Byrne. I wanted to say something to him, but I didn't because quite frankly, it probably would have been stupid, and I didn't have anything productive to say. I did think it was pretty funny that I saw him, especially in light of the thread about him.

I really had no idea why he was there. I just thought he was hanging out with family and friends.

They must not have had good food, or the food was crappy to load up on some Chik-Fil-A after the thing.

He did get it to go. Maybe it was for the guy he was with and their family. Or he probably thinks that I'm stalking him.

I've met Buck before. Trust me it was him. At first I wasn't sure, and then I heard him talk- and that confirmed it for me.

most of the sports communication I get is from the Internet. Not just from this site, I forgot about the Ferris Trophy being tonight because we have no one up for the award, and I'm done with giving Polk tributes. I'm not boycotting the C-L, I just read it online occasionally, and I don't watch the news a whole lot.

than either the local news or the local newspaper. I never watch the news and only read the paper on weekends.

in the morning. Other than that, it's mainly the net. I read a newspaper online occasionally, but I miss a lot more than if I have a paper copy. I never watch the news.
