</div>About three weeks ago, playing in the Southeastern Conference was just a "dream" for Jacquiese (pro-nounced Jock Weece) Holcombe.
Sure, the Georgia Perimeter College standout had other Division 1 offers, including Seton Hall in the Big East and UAB.
But Holcombe's plans changed two weeks ago when Mississippi State started showing interest in the 6-6 and 205-pound small forward.
One thing led to another and last Wednesday, Holcombe took an official visit to Starkville to see MSU's campus and its basketball program.
Once back at home, Holcombe followed his dream and inked with the Bulldogs last Friday, becoming State's fourth signee for the Class of 2009 (Dee Bost, Romero Osby and Twany Beckham).
"Mississippi State started recruiting me about two weeks ago," said Holcombe. "I was surprised when they offered me and it was like a dream come true.
