If we could get 10,000 new Bulldog Club members to give just $100, that would be $1,000,000. I'm pretty sure that there are 10,000 MSU fans that would be willing to give AT LEAST that much money.

Exactly JacksonDevilDog. That is the part that LT never could understand. 500 people giving $1000 is the same as one guy giving $500,000. But LT always ignored the small donors. You can't do that for several reasons. One reason is that the small donors can add up. A second reason is that you never know when your $100 donor may become a $10,000 donor in a few years and then might become a $1,000,000 donor one day. Many of these millionaires started off broke.

I, myself, joined up with $100. I asked others on here to do it and was laughed at.

and they are the same ones that will ***** about us being little ole MSU and not having any money. There has to be a lot of money on this board because everyone on here is extremely smart and must have high paying jobs. End of sarcasm.

Seriously, you can be a ditch digger and give 100 bucks to the Bulldog Club.

I call BS. No posts run off the page like they did on ezboard. I don't remotely remember that.

Good luck with it. I'm not searching for anything. It's there whether you remember it or not.

you never know when one of your cigar boys is going to go to die or go to jail.

If I die or go to jail, it's not a big blow to MSU athletics.

Byrne had been hired well in advance, but you already know that, instigating mf'er. Byrne's actions is why I joined.

We have signed up at least ten since LT's regime has been reported ended and some of them are 2500.00 a year up. Tells you something doesn't it.

when I was convinced the transition in the athletic department would take place. I had at least heard enough out of Byrne to be convinced there was renewed hope that our AD might actually have some vision and strategies to advance our athletics. Now I have given in the past through other people to get better football tickets but it was my first time to join individually.

what had byrne done by that time other than start shaking hands and kissing babies? i know that was a change from LT but not really an indication of what he was going to do for the athletic department. i could be forgetting something that he had done. just asking. now...after the cohen hire...i think there is plenty of indication of what is to come.

and his replacement has already been named to be "in charge," then yeah I guess Templeton was in charge. But I think a better indication of who was in charge is who hired the new baseball coach and who had no input whatsoever in the process.

Byrne was put in charge of hiring a new coach back in April. So you tell me who was in charge.

Bulldog Club

or call 662-325-3074.

And you don't even have to scrounge up $100, you can split it up throughout the year. At $100 per year they will debit your bank account for $8.34 per month.

When Cohen was announced as the new coach I ponied up $100...that will increase as my income goes up so long as I see progress being made...I just wanted to see definitive proof of regime change first...

I really hope nobody in the Bulldog Club offices is popping off about signing up 10 new members. If they are, I hope they are re-assigned within the University to a non-sales type position.

I heard this year that your ranking was based on what you paid in at the time of the application deadline.

Basically if I pledged $500 this year, but had only paid $250 at the time of the application deadline, my ranking was based on the $250.
I actually do not disagree with this as 1) I went ahead and made sure I had my complete contribution paid by the deadline which was of greater benefit to the school and 2) I do not want some deadbeat saying they will donate $1000 to get good seats and then never pony up.
