Someone tell these people that our bulldog logo is the walking Bully.

It also is a damn good logo regardless of mascot and certainly better than anything we have used officially in decades. Really dumb move that we don't embrace it. Rather than using recognizable and unique branding, we toss it aside and go to the watered down corporate run of the mill nonsense.

I like the walking bully and the bat swing except for one thing. On the swing, the hands are wrong. RH batter should have the right hand on top. How did a school with a baseball history ever get that so wrong?

I kind of think that’s part of what makes swinging bully great. Walking Bully sucks. Only retro logo I won’t buy.

Walking Bully isn't even the best anthropomorphic bulldog logo State has had.





Besides, practically every college had a "walking mascot" logo back in the 70s, but they at least look mean. Walking Bully looks like he's going to speak to the manager.

Of the walking Bully's we have had, I personally like the one that was not colored the best. The one that is colored brown is way too cartoonish looking to me.

My cowbell has the maroon bully with the 5 o'clock shadow. Happen to like that one.
