he has to have 5 years to get the type of people in to run his offense....you cant expect him to break the top 100 in offense in his first 4 seasons...it takes time...

but it is coaching. I don't believe for a second that Memphis has better offensive players than Ole Miss or State. However, they always have over 400 yards of offense against us. I watched the State game last night and I was baffled at what I was seeing with the quarterbacks for State. They didn't look well coached to me.

they don't have more talent than we do yet they find a way to move the ball consistently. Its puzzling.

They do have the trophy as the best college player in Miss last year, and after yesterday (220+ yards) he's certainly on his way to winning it again. Not to mention DeAndre Brown, a kid that everyone in the SEC wanted, had a TD and 90 yards receiving. So they seem pretty talented to me. But I agree that its all about coaching. But don't worry Dogs, every conference needs their bottom feeders.
