Buy or Sell: Saban feels heat if he loses to Tubby this year...

As a new resident of Alabama, I have a new found appreciation as to how crazy AL fans can be. They legitimately think they are going to win the West this year.

I said to one of them, you have a fairly tough schedule with road games @ UT, UGA and LSU. One reasonable person in every other aspect of his life said, "We always win in Baton Rouge". I didn't really know how to respond, so I left it alone.

I asked the same Bama fans what happens if Saban loses to Tub and AL loses for the 7th straight time, and whether Saban will be on the hot seat, and every single one of them said, "Its not gonna happen" I said, lets assume it does, and they refused to admit its an option.

Anyway im selling I just think the koolaid is flowing heavily in AL, and regardless of Saban losing this year to Tubby he is immune from heat. Maybe next year if he loses his third straight to Tubby then he will catch heat.</p>

LSU has won the last 2 vs. Alabama in Baton Rouge and 3 of the last 4.

bought himself an asbestos jumpsuit with the 08 signing class. Those f'n inbreds are still foaming at the mouth over winning the recruiting national championship. Hell, it's a wonder they haven't updated their national championship banner to include 2008. Don't give those 17ers any ideas.

Hard to point that out, when about 7 guys are all nodding theirs heads in agreement with a statement like that. None of these guys were friends, just neighbors.

Im just wondering if they really are that jacked up over recruiting and all things Saban, to look past an 0-2 start against AU.

But if he loses to Auburn and LSU (and god forbid, MSU) again, they're going to put some serious heat on him going into next year.

while he will catch alot of heat should they lose another to Tubby, he wont have anymore pressure than normal. Bama is going to have a pretty good season- i like their chances against Clemson due to Saban having 6 months to scheme a team, plus Bama get UPig early in the season before they are adjusted to the new passing scheme. They have games in T-Town they should handle easily with Kentucky, Mississippi, and us.

So, losing to Auburn would put them probably 8-4 and 4-4 in the SEC. Considering they were 6-6 last year, i think most fans will deal with it and see their program is on the rise, even with the loss to Auburn

Any team that would use Jonathon Lowe as their tailback needs years to re-build. As long as their Offensive and Defensive lines are bad, they'll be bad. I not only see Auburn beat Bammer again, but I think WE'LL beat them again as well.

He gets a complete pass this year, as his "#1 recruiting class" has to "learn the system."

Watch out next year.

Those bastards paid for instant gratification. And they didn't get it last year.

In their view, the amount of money they paid was justified, because they were buying an automatic national championship.

they can raise all the hell they want, but they are stuck with his *** for a minimum of 4 years regardless...even if he loses to them this year AND next...He has a NC and built LSU back into a power...they cant get rid of him and say "we can find somebody better"...Lets see where they are about mid-season in 2010..that will be a clear view...
