Actually, his pedigree of recruiting top-notch QBs that are coveted by many include only Tebow and Brantley and to an extent Russell. I seriously doubt he would have gotten players of that caliber at Bowling Green or Utah. I also doubt anyone big time was after Josh Harris who he put in the NFL from Bowling Green and Alex Smith at Utah was only a 2 star coming out of high school who only had intrest from Louisville besides Utah. At MSU it will take several consecutive bowl games before we can start thinking of landing a 4 or 5 star every year. Until then, we'll have to coach-up what we get which, unlike Croom, Mullen has proven he can do.I'm still a little stunned with the pedigree that Mullen has with QBs that we couldn't get any of Newton, Brunetti, Nance or Mason.
