The guy hasn't even been visible in practices, much less games.

Plus your QB and offense won't help the cause.

But only because your passing offense under Croom hasn't been good enough to give any receiver All-SEC numbers. I think you'll rely a lot on the run first and maybe mix in some option. I doubt you throw it enough or throw it enough to one particular receiver for that receiver to be All-SEC.

Also, you have to consider some of the other receivers in the SEC. A lot of good ones return this year, which will make it tough to be All-SEC.

Our QB will be ok, it is the offense that will be the problem. If we can run a somewhat sucessful offense WC should be fine

I'm sure Jevon Snead should be all SEC. After the last few years playing in the SEC,,,,,oh wait.....And with a coach that favors the pass,,,,, oh wait.... and the strong line he'll have blocking,,,,oh wait....But there's always that bowl experiance to fall back on,,,,,well damn....

I just don't think yall will rely on his arm enough for a WR in your offense to make All SEC. And if by some chance one did, I don't see Riley being the man.

I like Wes Carroll, but the guy isn't likely to throw enough yards to one receiver to gain All SEC honors. I don't see one receiver likely to put up those kinds of numbers even if he did. Then again I predicted 3-9 last year.

You obviously missed the topic. Maybe you should go find the thread titled "Buy/Sell Jevan Snead All-SEC". It may take you a while to find that thread, since it doesn't exist, but your thoughts will fit in well in that thread.

Just talking to some of the "northerners" commenting on this issue. They remind me of the guy talking about the neighbors yard when he's got an out of control daffodil problem.

strictly the rumors from around campus that he had the attitude last year and is now busting his *** and got his confidence back.

I can't quite buy, but I think a big season by him could pay big dividends. Of course, I'm of the thinking that good players can make any offense work. And I think Riley is a good player.

Nobody is downing "your yard".

Goat asked a question we responded. Most of our responses were in line with the bulldog responses.

We're having a discussion about Co-Eric Riley that also ties into Wes Carroll. Nobody mentioned Jevan Snead nor does he relate to this topic at all.

You still are not making sense. Once again what does Snead have to do with Riley? It is a discussion board. They were discussing Riley.

As for Co-Eric, I don't think this sytem will ever allow for that. Even if Jesus were to come in and QB and Woody were to be transformed into a play calling elite, the system is designed to have multiple receivers and the guys out of the backfield catching passes. With that, you wouldn't have any one player put up the numbers. If you did, it would mean that the offense was actually worse than it currently is and only had one target to throw to.

I don't think anyone was flaming or being unrealistic. Just like the MSU posters, we gave our opinion and valid reasoning behind it. I still don't see where Jevan Snead fit in with this thread. If you disagree with something anyone was saying, try arguing your point rather than taking the argument somewhere else that doesn't even come close to fitting the original topic.

Nice. You've managed to, out of nowhere, attack Rebs having a civil discussion with us by bringing in Jevan Snead, and later in the same thread managed to get sacrilegious on us.

Looks like you guys are a little more jumpy on this one. I don't understand why you people are insistent on being experts on everything MSU. You can argue you are or your not, yet every discussion about msu athletics, the president, the faculty and sharon fanning, you guys feel the need to interject. Its not that your points aren't valid, I just really don't give a damn what a rebel thinks.
Goat, I have heard the same things you have. His work ethic and attitude are vastly changed from where he ended last season. Hopefully he will have a great season but I don' think the system would allow one player to get the numbers needed to make this happen.

1) Who is "you people"

2) People interject opinions about MSU on an MSU messageboard....ground breaking, huh?

3) Your last statement in bold is basically what I said in my reply, yet it upset you. I guess you are mad that we agree.

4) The 6pack will side with a reb making a good point over a bulldog making stupid *** points.

B. Not looking for "sides", I'm grown.
C. Thanks for your input, its been very insightful. I am always concerned about what other schools think about MSU.

A.Your and idiot
B. Apparently your mind didn't age along with the rest of you.
C. Apparently you are concerned because Rebs simply stating their opinion without being obnoxious or outwardly biased made you fire back with Snead smack.

Thanks for hijacking and thus ruining this thread. I'm sure Goat appreciates your efforts.

Everything must go.

Like others have said, our offense, even if run correctly, doesn't usually lead to big time stats for any one WR. Add the fact that we basically never run our offense correctly and the odds of Co-Eric making all-SEC are about as good as MSU winning the SEC.
