I came away extremely impressed. Not the same impressed as I was after Keon Humpheries had a big game against Murray State or whoever the hell that was we opened with that year. He fell off the map after that. Robinson has speed and quickness that we haven't had in a while. I also like the play when they get it out to him in space and let him work. Not that it really matters, but Auburn and Michigan offered this guy late. They obviously saw something in him.
I was just as impressed with his hands as I was with his quicks. He was made one snag (all hands) with his arms fully extended that I can recall clearly.
I will withhold judgment until about midseason. Many times, opposing coaches can study moves of a young talent, and figure out how to cover him. I was very impressed, but don't think we can put some label on him for a while.
He has the quickness and the hands to be a special player. The only thing I was disappointed about was that he actually runs his routes past the 1st down marker. What ever will we do if he doesn't start running 3 yard routes on 3rd and 4? Seriously though, I would actually trust this guy to catch a short pass and run for the 1st down. He just looked that good.</p>
