I am impressed by the way he gets the Heat superstars to play defense but on the other hand their offense looks like LeBron and Wade just taking the ball and doing whatever they want with it.
Rankingany NBA coach beyond the top 4 or 5 is hard to do. My top 5 (now that Phil Jackson has retired):

I don't think Spoelstra is all that good of a coach. I honestly think that he was just somebody that Pat Riley wanted in there so he could take over at the first sign of trouble, but the media preliminarily railed Riley if that were to happen. So, I think he backed out of that plan.
